Those New York ’Nineties—
Snapshots & mugshots of Rohan Quine
(a rough-hewn earthiness)
This footage that I’ve called Those New York ’Nineties (residing in the top-menu called “Film & TV Acting”) is just for fun—a frisky little soufflé laying no claim to profundity, presented for moral instruction. My presence in all of its 115 items of footage probably adds up to something like one full B-movie’s worth of performance in total. A general introduction and an insufficient apology for Those New York ’Nineties as a whole is here. See also:

Here on this page is just the “Snapshots & mugshots” component in particular, containing various actor’s headshots and model’s portfolio shots, which somehow came together and got transmuted into first a fashion model’s H1B work visa, and then a screen-actor’s O1 work visa. Those two consecutive “non-immigrant” visas—both of them complicated and challenging to attain, requiring me to solicit and obtain a headache-inducing number of signed letters of recommendation from verifiable big cheeses and semi-big cheeses in the modelling industry and then later in the screen-acting industry—were the only things that allowed me to stay in U.S., because I was never able to attain an “immigrant” visa (a.k.a. green card) by any method, alas. There was also the possibility of the H1B’s or the O1’s imminent non-renewal hanging over me, throughout the entire decade, just so as to keep things relaxing.
